THE MCAT

The Medical College Admission Test® (MCAT®) is a standardized, multiple-choice examination designed to assess your problem solving, critical thinking, and knowledge of natural, behavioral, and social science concepts and principles prerequisite to the study of medicine (AAMC, 2022).

The MCAT is an admission requirement at most schools in Canada and the USA, although some schools use your score as a threshold while others may only use certain section scores. The test is administered across Canada from Jan-Sept. and you are given 7.5 hours to complete it, but you will not receive your score until about a month after writing the test.

See our MCAT info sessions here.
